Who Am I I'm sometimes Water, black and clear As winter ushers in my fear. I hear my groans, a bad sensation. I just need trust and motivation. I'm sometimes Fire, summers hot and red. I laugh as sweat drips off my head. Joy, compassion are my declaration and intimacy serves as inspiration. I'm sometimes Metal, all shiny and white. I smell burning leaves in the autumn night. I sniff and weep at the movie show and have some trouble letting go. I' sometimes Wood, fresh and green. I shout as tears welcome in the spring. I plan, decide, and waste my hour. In anger my plans sometimes turn sour. I' mostly Earth, with sweet monsoons. My lips taste life as I sing tunes. My worry, my thoughts turn toward the sky as I reminisce just who am I. by: Melvin E.
